Peloponnese, the Perivleptos in Mystras
Time Period: 1965 - 1970
At the southeastern end of the hill of Mystras, in Kato Poli, next to the cliff, is built the Monastery of Perivleptos , dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The road that comes from the Diocese and the road that descends from the Monastery of Pantanassa leads to the complex.
The monastery was probably founded in the middle of the 14th century by the first despot of Mystras, Manuel Kantakouzinos > (1348-1380) and his wife Isabella de Lusignan .
The photographs are offered in limited editions, printed on premium quality Hahnenmuhle Photo Luster photo paper, 260 gsm, at high resolution.

"...My photography was always simple, relying mostly on my instinct, believing that this way everything would be more natural, more genuine, more real...."
Our mother's dream
With a 30-year delay, my sister Katie and I are fulfilling our Mother's dream of publishing an online album that captures her work as an amateur photographer from 1965 to 1995.
