Peloponnese, the chandelier in Aghia Eleistria near Koroni
Time Period: 1971 - 1975
According to the tradition in 1897, the Virgin Mary appeared in the dream of an old woman, Maria Stathaki and indicated to her that they would find Her Icon. This woman hid her dream from her fellow citizens in Koroni, fearing that they would think she had gone crazy. Then the Virgin appeared again in her dream and when the old woman woke up, she had marks on her hand. When she woke up, she got scared and told the Coronians about her dream. After digging, they found the Icon of Eleistria. After finding the Miraculous Icon, they built the Church of Panagia Eleistria, which was inaugurated in 1900

Our mother's dream
With a 30-year delay, my sister Katie and I are fulfilling our Mother's dream of publishing an online album that captures her work as an amateur photographer from 1965 to 1995.
